Bless Me Father

Bless Me Father

A poem by Sydney Stone. I do not own the image.

***

Bless me Father for I have sinned,

I’ve met a man,

Tasted his skin,

Touched him in ways,

My husband’s naught,

And he with me,

As I’d forgot,

He bent me over,

Held me down,

Had me kiss,

His swollen crown,

Took me in ways,

Both rough and wild,

And of his wrath,

I never tired,

So forgive me Father,

For my lapse,

In judgment rendered,

Firmly tasked,

What is my penance?

Rightly earned,

To kneel before you?

And take my turn
